MEMO: Canadian dollar Pre-Authorized Credit Card Payment merchant issue
TO: Canadian/CAD Payment users
UPDATE : RESOLVED and monitoring. CAD-based currency payment are currently failing.
Related to the recent VISA PCI Compliance upgrade recently, our payment partners are resolving a side-issue currently affecting our CAD-currency credit card processing. All CAD transactions currently show as failing, regardless of the status of your account. We are assured by our payment partners that this will be resolved shortly.
This is now resolved, support teams continue to watch performance.
This did not affect USD credit cards, PayPal or other electronic transfers – these continued to work properly.
We thank you for your patience as we update the process with our partners to take advantage of enhance payment security.
